OUR PROGRAMS & CURRICULUM
The curriculum at Amazing Scholar Academy Preschool is designed to incorporate language development, social skills, art, math and reading-readiness activities, fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Most of the activities that provide the total learning experience in these areas take place in specially-outfitted rooms. For example:
The Learning Center is used for cognitive development and contains a variety of materials geared toward math and reading-readiness, sensorial and self-care activities.
The Art Room has a variety of art materials where the children are given the opportunity for creative expression and development of small motor skills.
The Play Room is equipped for imaginary play and social interaction.
The Books, Blocks & Puzzles Room provides dedicated space for children to discover books, create with blocks and solve hands-on puzzles.
The Science, Health & Music Room is a breakout space where smaller groups take part in activities that introduce basic scientific elements, hygiene and safety skills, and enhance learning through music and rhythm.
The Gym Area & Playground provide space for development of gross motor skills.
Admission and provision of services shall be made without regard to race, creed, color, age, national origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation or economic status.
